A leading Dublin based meat processing company has recently incorporated three ENE designed and built convergers into its processing plant.

 

The first machine supplied was a 4 lane Type II converger incorporating modular infeed conveyor, 4 intermediate conveyors and a lead out conveyor.  This machine is processing thermoformed sealed trays of meat at a rate of 56 trays per minute (14 cycles of 4 per minute).

 

The other two machines are processing thermoformed sealed trays containing meat joints.  These items are taller and less stable and therefore the Type I converger has been employed with its 3 lanes of modular infeed conveyors and sliding acetal shoe sortation section.  This machine is processing thermoformed sealed trays of meat at a rate of 72 trays per minute (12 cycles of 6 per minute).
